Gore, Power for KV? Walker left with FA?

Team Australia split could see new faces at Kalkhoven team.

Gore's move this late in such a turbulent offseason is damn cold.

Just how many champ car teams will be in the IRL? it seems the 'merger' was more like a 'torpedo' thats sunk champcar with all the guys who put money in getting paid to close it down.

Methinks you might be onto something there, baiter. That makes twice in a matter of weeks Gorey's effectively pulled the plug on a race team. Pulling out of V8 Supercar the week prior to Adelaide was appalling and now he's not put forth his fair share in Team Oz. After not liking him initially, I was beginning to warm to him. Now looks like we're headed full circle...

This also means that Power & Gore will be moving to a less competitive team for obscure commercial reasons... reminds me of the BAR-Jordan-Honda story in F1. Sucks for Walker, it was looking really promising for his Team Australia before all this.

Thomas, I think one word in your comment sums it up: COMMERCIAL. Craig Gore is in the money-making business; he wants to build his brand names and raise his wealth. Maybe I'm cynical but read the 'reasons' for his V8 Supercar departure and it drops a few hints...
