Champ Car Atlantic rookie Matt Lee has been hit with a loss of five championship points, after series officials found him guilty of unspecified infractions at last weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Champ Car Atlantic rookie Matt Lee has been hit with a loss of five championship points, after series officials found him guilty of unspecified infractions at last weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The 17-year old Conquest Racing driver finished tenth in Sunday's season opener, originally earning eleven points, but the penalty will see him take just six of those into this weekend's second round at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Lee now lies 15th in the series standings.
