Indy 500 veteran Stephane Gregoire has been ruled out of next weekend's Indy 500 after suffering a fractured endplate to his T3 vertebrae in a practice crash earlier this week.

His Chastain Motorsports team have quickly confirmed that the vastly experienced Roberto Moreno will replace Gregoire in the #77 entry and will attempt to qualify for his first Indy 500 since 1999.

Beck Motorsports have also confirmed that Alex Barron will pilot the #98 Dallara-Honda at Indianapolis although the team have not yet named a driver for their #43 entry.
