Richard Antinucci took seventh spot, just ahead of Sam Schmidt team-mate Jon Brownson, while female debutantes Cyndie Alleman and Ana Beatriz completed the top ten.
Apex Racing, meanwhile, had a sign outside its garage advertising the availability of seats for 2008. Owner/driver Ken Losch, who fields cars for himself and Mike Potekhen, has said that he could sit out the season if a sponsored driver is available.
"Ken's got a lot of things going on," Potekhen said, referring to Losch's real estate development business, "If there's someone out there, he's not going to drive. Of course, that could all change if the team finds a sponsor."
Apex may not be short of offers, however, as there were several drivers who have not yet secured drives scouting for drives and turning laps with various teams, but the team is thought to be talking to Arie Luyendyk Jr.
