Foyt doubles assault on 500.

“It's great to be back with AJ's team,” said Simmons, who finished eleventh for RLR in last year's 500, “I'm looking forward to working with AJ, Darren and the whole Foyt team. Darren can help me get up to speed quickly and, hopefully, I can contribute something to the team as we get ready for qualifying next weekend.”

Both Foyt cars will attempt to qualify this Saturday [17 May], with positions 12-33 up for grabs after Sunday's rain delay. Manning's lone attempt on Pole Day was waived off.
