Pacific Coast Motorsport are looking to make an impact on their slightly delayed IndyCar Series race debut at Milwaukee as they hope to capitalise on Mario Dominguez's experience of the oval circuit.
Having made their first appearance in the championship at the Indianapolis 500, the failure to qualify for the race meant PCM would have to wait until this round to reach the grid.
Nonetheless, although they have a steep learning curve ahead as they learn more about their new machine, PCM are confident that Dominguez's promising results at Milwaukee in the past will stand them in good stead alongside their fellow Champ Car converts.
With five starts around the Milwaukee Mile and a best result of seventh, Dominguez is excited to be returning to the starting grid after just missing out at Indy.
“I am really excited to return to Milwaukee. This will be my first IndyCar race and I have enjoyed good success at that race track. The team has a lot more knowledge about the car now and so do, I so we hope we can have a strong weekend.
“The track is very exciting and it should be a big field, the fans in Milwaukee are in for a treat! I've been home in beautiful Mexico City for a few days; enjoying the weather and training hard, I am really excited to get back on track.”
