Tuesday, 22nd July 2008

Justin Wilson was left frustrated and disappointed by two incidents which ruined his chances of success on IndyCar's Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio.

"We were obviously on another strategy and were doing alright, minding our own business," Wheldon added, "On the restart, Wilson and Dominguez got together and I got hit from behind [by Foyt]. There was really nowhere to go. We came into the pits a few more times to top off and make sure we could run the remaining laps and get the most points available to us, but it's unfortunate."

The result, with Wheldon being classified 17th, was enough to drop the Briton back behind Tony Kanaan to fourth in the overall standings, while Wilson moved into a share of 17th with fellow rookie Ernesto Viso. Andretti is eighth overall heading to this Saturday's event at Edmonton City Airport, where Wilson has finished on the podium in each of the last two years.
