Portuguese squad prepares for LMS tests.

The Quifel-ASM team will start its preparations for the 2008 Le Mans Series this weekend by joining up with most of the field for a two-day pre-season test session at Paul Ricard.

The two-day test, running on Sunday and Monday, will allow the Portuguese team to continue development of its Dunlop tyres and also work on some evolutions of its Lola B05/40 AER.

The new aerodynamic kit, developed by Lola for the coming season, will not be available on the day at Paul Ricard, with the new kit set to be installed on the car at the first championship event in Barcelona.

The team will take part in the night session at the French circuit, which will end at midnight on 3 March, with the test being used to prepare the team and the drivers for the conditions at the Le Mans 24 Hour.

Miguel Pais do Amaral, Olivier Pla and Guy Smith will all be on driving duty.
