Just one week after his first loss of the 2006 MX1 season, Stefan Everts will get a second chance to clinch his 100th GP victory at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands held in the deep sand of Lierop.

But the 18 year old Frenchman has led the championship since the Grand Prix of Japan and has been by far the most consistent MX2 rider of the season, with eight podiums out of thirteen GPs.

After this weekend's Grand Prix of the Netherlands, the 2006 season concludes at the Grand Prix of France after which attention will turn to the Motocross of Nations.
