Preview - Grand Prix of Italy.

Thursday, 15th May 2008

Just one week after visiting Sevlievo in Bulgaria, the 2008 MX1 and MX2 FIM Motocross World Championship heads for Mantova in Italy for round five of 15.

However, Cairoli will need to watch his back; Rattray's team-mate Tommy Searle won his second career grand prix last weekend and is now just four points from Cairoli

The Mantova terrain is a mix between natural soil (30%) and sand (70%), which makes it one of the few sandy circuits in the Italian peninsula.

Last year Coppins (MX1) and Cairoli (MX2) took the overalls with two double wins each at the end of a sunny event, but this year the weather forecast predicts rain for the entire weekend.
