'Sup Y’all?! As they say from these parts of the world.
Sorry for such a late entry so this is gonna be a long check in! After the Laguna Seca MotoGP ride I’ve had an overwhelming amount of people congratulating me, so thanks a lot to all those people.
After leaving Laguna my girlfriend, Hattie, and I stayed in San Francisco for five days to do the tourist thing. We had a really fun stay and really liked the city of San Francisco. During our stay we did all the usual tourist stuff like Alcatraz, cycling over the Golden Gate Bridge, China Town etc. I didn’t have my bicycle with me which meant a trip to Nike Town to deck myself out with some running gear to keep on top of some sort of training.
From San Fran we headed north to Seattle, Washington for a charity event called the Seattle 100. It is basically a track day for a good cause where the rider must raise a minimum of $500 to take part. It was a fun day, I rode an R1 and also took Hattie for her first ride as passenger to me which was a lot of fun… she lasted about 2 minutes!
The charity is in place to help people who have severe kidney conditions and for such a small charity they do great things. From all of the donations, an auction and all the money given by the riders, $145,000 was raised. For more info on the charity go to
