Funny how Rossi flames michelin, leaves and gets shafted by Bridgstone for theatening to have them thowen out by a single tyre rule, Now Michelin have throwen everthing behind there favourite son and tester Colin Tornado Texas, He will end up with exactly what he wants not what rossi wants, I think, if he beleives he has the tyre he wants he will push, and do better than ever, If this is the case i hope he stays around a bit longer. As for no presure, new challenge...How was "dont beat Rossi" preasure????? there is more than meets the eye there.
I can;t decide how good Edwards is as a motogp rider. Maybe we'll find out this year. Rossi's made all his team-mates so far (Ukawa, Hayden, Checa, Edwards) look ordinary.
I was surpised that Edwards got those poles last season, that's pure speed, and was impressed by his ride in the wet at donington, but there was not much else to shout about.
Which riders would you say are better than Edwards and which are worse???
For a "worse rider" Hayden set a very fast lap in Sepang!! Can you set a laptime like he did? For sure I can't, they all must have steel nerves and a lot of guts..
I like Edwards for his humor and he is a bloody fast rider, I saw him in Assen on that occaision and was impressed by the way he rode himself to the top, unfortunatly the Timmer corner stood in way.. I think that in the past he rode a lot against himself so if he is more relaxed who knows what results we can expect..
Nicky Hayden if he has another bad year with Honda? Or maybe someone from WSB? Or someone else from MotoGP? (Biaggi/Bayliss/)
Thanks.

Colin may very well be tempted into signing another year at Tech 3 if 2008 goes well, he's having a ball ;-) I will be sad to see him go, great character, allways good for some laughs!
My God... the season does not start for over a month and you lot are already talking about where Edwards is going next. I'm sure that his final decision will be made during the year when he finds out if he is still competitive. After the comments he made about Foggy back in WSB, I took a dislike to Colin, but since watching him race in MotoGP along side Rossi and after reading his column in Two Wheels Only magazine, I have a new found respect for the man! I hope he does well this year and we will see what happens next year when the time comes.
It seems like colin goes where the rumors lead him. I feel if there is a strong public/paddock opinion he's finished he'll leave, or if its strong to stay or move to a certain team he will.
Im sorry am i the only person who thinks he a ****, he has done nothing in 5 yrs why should he get a ride when there is lots more talent out there, he talks **** and it ****

He won't mind cashing another nice cheque, then go home Do some AMA, see more of the wife and kids, bit o' golf, bit o' snowboarding ...
I don't want Colin to leave, he's a great personality...BUT...Crash.net reports:
'Colin has been widely praised for his sincere efforts to help Toseland adapt to prototype machinery and the Englishman was recently quoted by the Press Association as saying: "This is going to be [Colin's] last year in MotoGP'.
That worries me. James woudn't vounteer Colin for retirement, Colin must have told him. Looks like the fun American is leaving then.

Then who Harry? I say...Nori Haga (times have changed), Jamie Stauffer, Josh brooks or Broc Parkes maybe even Mark Aitchison.
That Stauffer guy. Toseland wouldn't have said the wrong thing at the wrong time would he? Dont forget these guys spend their time racing bikes not taking media management courses.
