FIRST PICTURES: Kawasaki's 2008 livery.

The livery appeared during the opening day of testing at Phillip Island, in Australia, on Wednesday - when new signing John Hopkins also rode with green-and-black leathers for the first time.

i liked the dark green they had at the start of last season

Great looking bike, shame about that shade of green. I agree with Brendan, the darker metallic green was much more attractive. Tip for Hopper - Keep your helmet on when doing photo shoots, those ears are huuuuuge...

 1 people disagree.

They decided to revert to their 'racing green' because of public demand.
You can disagree all you like, it was in their press statement when changing it

Fantastic looking bike, i like it with a bit more black on it and as morgue says if thats what the public want then thats what they get. BUT, i still say no matter what bike Hopper is on he just dont look comfortable, i think he has a very strange sticky outy style, as a kwaker fan im not HAPPY with him on board!

I like the look.
Regarding the green, I hated the dark green. Kawi race teams should be Kawi lime green.
That dark green is similar to the green on the ZX-9R and 12R from a few years ago, looked good on them, but for race bikes, lime please!

Great looking bike and it made me laugh seeing the photos with West sitting on the floor next to the bike.LOL. He's just getting practise in for when he continually falls in the coming season.
He's the luckiest rider to have ever gotten a factory ride.

It looks great, but what are those three little green worms doing on it?

It does seem a little understated for a big sponsor, but what do I know about marketing strategies and psychology ? It does leave the bike looking a bit cleaner though.

looks like a good design to me.i wish that more teams would use old or tradition factories designs as some look like they have left it to the last moment to decide

That little Monster logo along with a little cash is the main reason for Hopper jumping ship. As for West, all i can say is cough, "Choke," cough...
