Jerez MotoGP test times - Monday.

Jerez MotoGP test times - Monday.

Following Sunday's rain, the weather fortunately improved on Monday - where, as on day one, Repsol Honda's Nicky Hayden set the pace with the aid of a Michelin qualifying tyre.

 2 people disagree.

Was the weather steady today?
And are all of these qual. times?

Rossi and Stoner, nice and close...

Man...Qatar is going to be good!

Rossi fastest Bridgestone runner in the dry. It ain't a done deal yet. JT a gnats behind after a big crash. Nice one. You do wonder if all the rookies are just flat out on Q's just to make their mark whilst the regulars are simply testing (this is a test after all).

Well done, Nicky. Most laps too, which should be no surprise. Lots of young guns and rookies up there too.

Where was edwards?

i think rossi and stoner will be please, cos on race tyre's i think they've got it.

michelin riders got saved by the super sticky's i'd say.

roll on qatar and lets see how well smith does in the testing at jerez, as of tomorrow.

After the season that Nicky endured last time out it's good to see him back up at the top!! Let's see Pedrobot complain about that one ;)

Everybody uses Q tires at these tests so to make comment (Jimmy Mansi)about Mich riders using sticky's as though no one else did is utter *****.
Mr Hayden was just as quick as those 2 clowns you mention so

its good to see all the young blood up their with the three champions.
hope it is a sign of what we will see this year: crazy young psycho's dicing and challenging the front boys with some heart stopping brave moves.

no,i read that as the michelins qualifiers were better than bridgys,on race tyres bridgestones were better, don't think it was implied that bridgy riders didn't use qualis

haha big daddy calm down!

Everyone used qualy's but on race tyres bridgestone are faster i'd say.

Roll ur neck in calm down and have a hot chocolate.

Anyone can see hayden's race pace hasnt been good enough so far in the tests and he's been saved by the michelin qualy's

get with it!

Jimmy,
"Anyone can see hayden't race pace hasn't been good enough so far in the tests", eh? I suppose I have missed that. Over and over. Please provide some link to support your claim. this should be very easy to do if "anyone can see." Preferably all the tests too, not just his worst performance. I am genuinely curious

-cheers

Is it just me or is anyone else wondering where Melandri is & what he's going to do when the season starts proper?

Stoner consistently quicker on race tyres. Didn't bother with a qualifier. Ominous

Ya know Ol Jimmy boy had to find SOMETHING wrong with Nicky's Performance thus far and discount the fact that hes been very fast in almost every test. Matter fact hes easily been in the top 5 and been #1 in several test sessions not to mention #3 yesterday and fastest today. Had it not been for the weather Nicky would have taken the BMW.

Even Rossi said he thought Nicky was the favorite.

So go ahead jimmy find something else to complain about. And i am sure Mr Hayden with KEEP proving you wrong. I guess its just a matter of time before speedy show up and puts in his delusional 2cent.

Keep up the good work Nicky!!!

all u've got to do is see where hayden is until he chucks in the qualy's

i've been watchin the live times on motogp.com and he's between 5-10 until he sticks in the qualy.

So would I be right in saying Valentino and De Puniet opted not to use qualifying tyres?

But hey, keep arguing ur case, we'll see what you have to say after the first race in Qatar...although you'll probably be blaming Honda no doubt.

Maybe Stoner was told to slow down a bit to keep everyone interested. He's clearly faster than everyone else right now. I hope I'm wrong but he has to be a huge favourite to win it again this year. My advice is to take advantage of the reasonably generous odds the bookies are offering at the moment.

Good work by JT, he's shown steady improvement.

Let's hope the first race is more exciting than the televised test session

why are you guys bashing each other? are you here to say what you think or to insult each other? as for the facts!!! Nickey himself said that the ql's work really good but he has to do allot more work on the race setup cos he isn't fast enough!!!
i wish we will find what he needs to be cooperative and fight for the wins.
all every one wants is to have great exiting close races this year and that's why i hope that everyone will be consistence and fast this year, and that the champion will be crowned on the last corner in the last race of the season...
so good luck all and may the best Italian win go loris->->->
