Kawasaki: Hopkins is one hard rider...

A twelfth placed finish wasn't what John Hopkins had been hoping for on his Kawasaki debut, but given that he rode through 'excruciating' pain from his recent groin injury - and battled severe front tyre problems - it was a mighty effort.

yep Hopkins is good rider and deserve to reach the podiums, I wonder why he has never tried a Yamaha again or Honda...he always choose a different story...but in green he can show something, I wish him quick recover from injury and beat a lot of rookies

Word is Hopkins had to be lifted off his bike at the end, and sat, head in hands, crying "in anger and in pain." West apparently punched his fist into the garage wall. This is what happens when you send young men into battle on a pile of junk. Sharpen up your act Kawasaki. We are tired of seeing your riders getting hurt.

that is not undely true 'baron', hopkins would of been angry at himself for not being able to fulfil the potential of himself and of the bike!!
if you race then surely you will understand that when you come in from competeing and you havent ridden as hard or as well as you could for whatever reason then you know you are angry at yourself!
and as many people have said west is lucky to have a factory ride! he is a wet weather specialist!!

screamer engine, bridgestone, new suspension and good setup will make Hopkins the king
