Fresh from his dominant Qatar GP win, Ducati's reigning world champion Casey Stoner and team-mate Marco Melandri attended the week-long event on Wednesday, with Kawasaki's Anthony West joined by Suzuki's Loris Capirossi on Thursday, while Honda Gresini's Alex de Angelis and Alice Team rider Toni Elias were present on Friday.

Rember this is purely PR. Valentino has developed hardly anything yet at Bridgestone. The other riders mentioned have, so they can take some pride that this is a MotoGP derived tyre. Bridgestone's PR department know that Rossi's attendance does not add to the 'derived from MotoGP technology' thing. It just wouldn't be credible. This is PR only and has little to do with MotoGP. Bridgestone must be happy crash.net posted this...

The funniest part of this was that at the Jerez launch. Toni Elias crashed his ducati chasing Jeremy McWilliams and De Angleis. He put it into the sand trap after both got past him and started pulling away rapidly. Not a good look with 30 journos there. They didnt seem to mention the crash in this report however. But I was there and saw it with my own eyes.

I've noticed a few of these advertisement articles on crash.net now. They're pretty ******* lame. Don't you guys already have enough advertisements on the site as it is?
Hedgeholer, you can run the different size front on the ZX6 you just need to adjust the steering geometry by sliding the forks through the triple clamps to compensate for the rolling diameter change. In my experience going to the 120/60 is better than the 120/70 as you lose less ground clearance from the adjustment.Increase the rake if you use the smaller tyre (slide triple clamp up the fork (away from ground).Decrease the rake if you use the taller /70 tyre (slide the triple down the fork). If I were you I'd try the 120/60 without adjustment before making any chg. You may find you like the sharper steering. Note the different profiles do give a different feel - the 60 is a more progressive

../2 turn-in but the steeper rake will improve the turn-in speed and decrease the effort. The /70 will take more effort to turn in until you adjust rake. If you adjust both rakes to the same as the /65 then the difference is left purely as the profile shape diff - the /70 will be a marginally flatter curve and hence feel slightly more stable but a little more effort. The R6 used the /60 for a long time to help make it tip in quickly.

......"they listened to me from the beginning, even if I was still young and I hadn't won MotoGP races, they gave back what I was putting in," ------ pompus brat already trying to take credit and claim that it was him that made the Bridgestones what they are today...next he will say it was me who told Ducati how to make the bike and that is why they won!!...i would really love to see him show his "talent" with another bike and another set of tires
