He is very smart guy such a show!...Maybe many people discuss on his skills but his personality is super. He respects to his rivals and graceful in front of the media. That' s why I respect him and don' t care his failures on track!

I agree. Seems like such a cool down to earth guy. While he may not be the best rider on the grid, he did still win the championship by having more points at the end of the season. At the end of the day, apart from being a rider you still have to be a human being.

Safety issues aren't supposed to be viewed by the safety commitee instead of a single rider?

ZX Steve - That is the least negative comment you have ever left. Don't know why you bother with the sport as all you ever do is criticise all the riders - never anything positive to say... ;)

I met Nicky eight years ago at Daytona. One truly nice kid back then. Now he appears to be one truly nice man in spite of his success.

Casual obs... I agree with you 100 % !!!ZX9R you have nothing good to say and are always negative ! I guess everyone has to have their critics but I would be amazed if you had a hair of hoppers or Haydens talent ... Try to enjoy the sport for a change !

Some folk round here must be semi-literate. JimC points out Hayden was an amiable kid that's grown into a good bloke Not and he's a talented rider or any such comment simply a good bloke . And two know-nothings thumb it down.
I posted it before and I'll probably bore you by posting it again: Hayden is one of the riders most consistently liked by other riders & pit lane dwellers - particularly by the pit crews. And that happens because he treats other people with consideration and without arrogance.
He *is* a genuinely good bloke. It ain't opinion its empirical.
To Hedgeholer who is obviously extremely literate using words like empirical, I had to consult my dictionary and this is what I came up with: 1. derived from or relating to experiment and observation rather than theory 2. (of medical treatment) based on practical experience rather than scientific proof Now what the hell has empirical got to do with motogp, I really don't know. He must have swallowed a dictionary.

Good to see MotoGP is liked and wanted at indy unlike F1. wonder if AMA or WSBK will ever get to race there?
Multiple 'observations' have been made that Hayden is a good bro
Hence, emperical.
thanks.

The trouble with talking about Hayden on this forum is that he is not a brit. Toseland shows some of the same personal characteristics and quality of character as Hayden, and so he is a heró to the brits here. Hayden speaks with a non-british accent so the typical british cynical put-down comes into play, totally irrespective (look that one up in your f-ing queen's dictionary) of his character and achievements. Your shoddy british is showing.

hugoiom - Be fair, I did also point out some of the folk around here are semi-literate
science bro - Just so.
Hopkins fan - That's not entirely true - Hayden hasn't run into *anyone* this year, whereas Toseland ............ ;-)
So zx9rSteve - Everyone has the right to an opinion and I respect that, but purely out of interest what exactly is wrong with Hayden and Hopper? Why do you dislike them so much? Is it an anti-American thing?

I'm a Brit and I'm a big Hayden fan. I wouldn't say Brits hate Hayden any more than anyone from any other country?

If you are not out there doing it yourself.....Then you should not have the arrogance to bag any rider......what happened ZX9RSteve Hayden and Hopper beat you around your room in their armchairs ;)
