At least we all know who is really consistent here.Only acertain group of people have written off Rossi. As an old man he is still Hanging in there and I am sure he will be Champion again. Gooooooooooooo Rossi............

You're right terrazzo, Lorenzo does know how to qualify but, the thing I'm happy about is ROSSI! This guy, this guy. He was the only Bridgestone rider in the TOP 8! The man is the BEST! Plain and simple! Bridgestone track or not, he can't be written off. He will be the one to beat tomorrow no doubt. Look at the link I've included, Stoner had the fastest top speed of everyone while 2 other Ducati's were right behind in top speed. I guess this means you actually have be a good rider to do well at this track seeing how the straight advantage doesn't help a whole lot there. www.motogp.com/en/motogp/motogp_results.htm?event_id=3591&subevent_id=6051&gallery_id=52941&championship_id=3

Lorenzo very impressive again, but i agree Rossi looking good.
Can't wait for the race tomorrow, lets hope we get some proper close racing all the way to the end of the race.
Quick shout for JT, 6th position on a track he has never been to is a great ride.
Go JT.

Yes, Rossi do very well, but so does the bike, all the Yamaha's are among the top 6. While Ducati are in some sort of trouble, even Stoner can't manage better then 9!!! I can't remember his time form last year, but I think he was faster on the 07 bike!!! The rest of the Ducati's are just a "joke", Elias and Marco could do top 10 on the Yamaha or the Honda. There is almost 3-4 seconds from Lorenzo to the back markers on the Ducati. One could hope Ducati have the 07 bike with them at the back of the truck....if not Casey needs rain tomorrow, then he can win.
Pedrosa will probably win tomorrow. Stoner again unable to find a setup - I wonder why? Lorenzo - great qualifying, but until he gets the arm pump operation done (next week I beleive) he wont be challenging for the win.

maybe little loris did a hell of a lot of setting up casey is no 1 now but can he understand the bike or the setups or have BS gone more in the vale direction with there tires? who knows it don't look good for the dukes tho

a michelin track, could've fooled rossi... seems like they just needed someone to give them some direction at their difficult tracks...Stoner needs some of those chinese rainmaking rockets or he'll be off the podium

Bridgestone haven't even started developing tyres for Yamaha, he is riding with what he's being offered. To qualify first row here on BS is a phenomenal achievement.
It's frustrating to see Marco still struggling at the back...for whatever reason. I'd like to see him back on a bike he understands. How long is his contract with Ducati????

JJ,I believe its 2 years although its looking more like it'll be 3 races at this rate!!!

Hey Morphine! Long time-no see. I thought you'd bailed on this site a long time ago. Seems a lot have....
Here's hoping Marco can sort it out!

Howdy! No have always been around, just got fed up with posting with the obsession of rossi/stoner bitching taking over. It seems to have calmed down a bit lately with some more insightful postings going through, so thought i'd give it another go...
Have to say I agree with previous posts, I dont like to see ducati at the back of the field, just dont want to see them 10 seconds up the road like last year either! Impressed with Rossi on bs,(clearly not the best tyres over the last 3 events) still think he would have been alot faster on mich though. But probably would have been as boring as last year with him clearing off...??
Lorenzo and toseland are seriously impressive!!

What a season so far - fair play to all the rookies, they have all added a real edge to the season so far. Think Lorenzo is a real talent but hats off to the doctor, the guy is truely clever allowing all the limelight to rest on his young team mate whilst slower getting to grips with the bridgestones - no ego tantrums as his team mate gets all the attention, only a matter of time until he's winning again and i'm a Ducati fan. Fair play Mr Rossi
I would'nt mind betting that Bridgestone are already working with valentino on a front qualifyer, let's face fact's he's being supplied with what Casey has been using for now!
He is showing the supposedley un beatable Stoner the way to do it.
Hat's off to the 3 top riders though they are the 3 guy's who keep on performing, as for Ducati well it seems as if they may have built a good bike last year but is it realy that good, I mean no one apart from Casey can ride the damn thing, that could prove to be a major problem for them.
2moro could be Rossi's first win this year, hope so
Hey badbreath: looking at the free practice times (ignore one-off hot laps on Q-tyres) Lorenzo indeed looks the goods, running a series of 1:37s and from the time sheets, without trouble. No one else was close. But it was like that at Jerez, before The Doctor stepped up to the plate in the race. 46 could win here, wet or dry. If wet, bye-bye Pedrosa & Lorenzo. Now, the Ducatis. Last year Stoner was 0.912 sec faster in Qual. and his last year's Q-time would have put him between Edwards & Toseland this year! Question: has Ducati caught the Japs disease of 'improving' its bike only to go slower???

Race Prediction
1) Rossi 2) Lorenzo 3) Pedrosa 4) Hayden 5) Stoner
We can only hope 'The Doctor' can pull of an incredible emergency house call!
Can't wait for the battle between Rossi leading, and Pedro/Lorenzo (new arch rivals) squabbling for a heroic 2nd place.
The question is, does Rossi have the tyres - and will Stoner push past Hayden for 4th?

Hi all, Just wondering, Does anyone notice from 10-20 starting grid in MotoGP Portugal all racers using (B) Tires ?. Maybe this is the answer of Casey Stoner big question about Ducati loosing pace in qualifying time. as we all know that wrong choice of Tires might can cause a big different. , please forgive my bad English. from, Josan
