Rossi, who has taken two podiums from his first three Bridgestone starts and holds third in the current world championship standings, will be looking to break a seven-race losing streak - since Estoril 2007 - next time out in Shanghai, a circuit where Rossi finished second to Casey Stoner's Bridgestone-shod Ducati last year.
90 LAPS practice, three race distances.you have to admire his work ethic etc,Would love to see him have a win in shanghai, and close the points race with the two youngsters, should be a good year,

The best? It is always questionable regarding the performance? But by this regulations it is not so easy to find who is the best? For example let' s remember how to Nick Hayden won the championship? Was he best? Not but mostly luckiest on track!...
Time war makes MotoGP dirty and more questionable?

i agree with you guys..he is trying hard**** only will get better i am sure of that.not that it is not going fine until now..i think he has done good so far considering he took 2 podiums in two tracks he knew he would have problems due to his tyres.i know that when it is about Vale we are completely satisfied when we see him on top step of the podium because this is where he deserves to be,but in China he has more chance than the ones he had in Estoril so go Rossi go!!and win it this ye******

Jerez and Estoril are two 'Rossi' tracks. Yet, he was clearly 'hanging on' last weekend. Last year was Stoner's. This year looks to be between Pedrosa & Lorenzo. So, the 'only can get better' comments are just wishful thinking. I predict Rossi won't win a single race this year.

I doubt Mihelin and Bridgestone are using the same tyres they were using last year, I doubt Rossi is using the same tyre Stoner used to win on, this is what I think and I would like to know more, for me this year is different and it doesn't mean Michelin won't win where they were having trouble last year and vice versa.Rossi is trying hard like Lorenzo Pedrosa Stoner Hayden Hopkins and all the other guys but of course for him it's probably harder, first he has to beat his young team mate and prove he was right to go to Bridgestone.

It surely will get better everytime. Rossi is well known as the most developing GP rider of all times! That should include the way he develops tyres... with targets... For how long? well, there are always competitions inside "the club" in this case, Rossi vs Stoner! who will be the first to show their best? i'm sure in about midseason!
On Michelin tracks, Lorenzo or Pedrosa will win. On Bridgestone tracks, Stoner will win. So tell me what is left for Rossi ? Podiums...yes...wins...no....

And the pundits and Stoner said, "The bad news for Rossi and Yamaha is that the Ducati is even better this year(2008). "Despite what anyone else thinks, we were struggling for bottom-end acceleration last season," Stoner said. "We've changed the chassis so that the bike's easier to ride coming out of turns. And he kept talking, "It's been frustrating because everyone said my results were down to other things," he said. "It was traction control or the tyres or the bike. It p***ed me off. Now the Japanese factories have been trying to bring in new rules to squish us down. Return back to earth, present day. He no speak a word as yet. LOL, LOL, LMAO!!!

Casey says it is not vital that Bridgestone rolls out a new front qualifying tyre in 2008. Michelin already has a front qualifier but Stoner says he isn't worried at the prospect of having to carry on qualifying with a Bridgestone race tyre. Stoner won from fourth on the grid in the season's opening race in Qatar and he said: "My front race tyre works fine with a qualifier and we can use this to have more in our tyre allocation."I don't care about qualifying, we need to be towards the front and it's not really a big interest of mine to start running front qualifiers."As long as I am on the first two rows I'm not bothered. I care more about the set-up on race tyre. Pompous, arrogant fool.

Dray are you aware of a little something? When you say something about someone else that you are actually saying something about you.. So you see..We can all see the type of person you are at this stage of your life. You would be better served to put your efforts into your own personal development.

Does the chap who is predicting that Rossi won't win a race this year want to put any money on it ?

Dray - wtf is your point? Stoner is saying he wants a tyre that will win him the race, not just pole position, and that he's happy to have to fight his way through the pack if he has to. Are you aware that the WC is won by the rider who gets most points from his race finishes, not from most pole positions or most fastest laps? I guess you're not. Stoner obviously is, which is probably why he's the WC in MotoGP and you are no more than a rather pathetic little blogger.

It s quite arrogant, and stupid, to tell your tyre maker "nah i dont need a front qualifier". Specially if Rossi is ahead of u and pushing the tyre development to his side
