I noticed the new Bridgestone tire lack of side grip compare to last season version. Probably bikes speed improvement has push the grip to it's limits.
I think Nakano is returning to develop the Bridgestone tire for Honda. Yet, Honda's lack of performance would make it harder as he used to onboard the Kawasaki.

Nakano is either really unlucky or is a dog in the strategic choices department. Leaving Kawasaki for Honda. Abandoning last years Michelins for this years Bridgestones, well that doesn't pay off as well for now.
He is an excellent rider, but looks very mediocre for way too long. If he wouldn't have been Japanese... Exactly.

The only thing I find relevent here is Bridgstone have said before, it has developed tyres for Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati and now its working on the honda's needs. So now we can say for certain where Bridgstone see Yamaha in the big picture...the tail end. And rightly so, I can see Rossi going back to Michilen if he could and thats only going to happen if Kawasaki or Suzuki supply another team. Rossi needs to avoid Ducati like the plague, then there is always the question of honor for Honda, considering they no longer have any I suspect Honda will take Rossi back and get him back on the good rubber.
As you yourself said Ace it's far too early to be drawing conclusions..

Interesting scenerio with the Gresini BS testing... certainly would be if they improve to the point that the factory has to reevaluate their ongoing Michelin partnership... An HRC/Bridgstone marriage would make for better Japanese press I reckon hmmm food for though as the season progresses.
Lets say hypothetically rossi finishes behind Horhay this year, he likely then wont stay at Yamaha?.... So what options are left realistically Hmmm back to HRC on BS tyres! OR retire ;)
