Lorenzo even faster?

20-year-old MotoGP rookie Jorge Lorenzo heads to Shanghai in joint lead of the 2008 world championship, after his debut victory last time out in Estoril, and expects to be in 'perfect shape' to defend his perfect pole and podium record at round four after recent arm surgery.

Not so sure about a big ego? More like very confident, there's a BIG difference - as The Morgue sais, he delivers & there's no real reason for that to tapper off if you look at his consistency thoughout the last couple of years, I think he has the goods to take it to anyone in the feild and I wish him all the luck. PS I'm probably a bit different to most who post on here, as I'm not anti any rider, and am a BIG fan of several riders, inc. Rossi and Stoner! Just hope the level of racing stays as good as it has been so far this year!

Beating your teammate is for also rans....JL's first priority is to win and at the very least be infront of Pedrosa, I reckon he won't see Stoner even as a threat unless he vastly improves and the same will go for VR if they don't get the tyres sorted. Remember he has the pedigree that Stoner didn't have(2x 250WC). He will be thinking of himself firstly and his nearest competitor which is Pedrosa second no question...

Stoner is a genuine threat yes, but deluxe is on the money. If Stoner run's away with it (China), JL Pedro & Rossi won't be too concerned.

P.S Hasn't JL beaten his team mate a couple times already? Take the blinkers off....

... and I'm a Rossi fan by the way, but more importantly a MotoGP fan. I think some people are trying to create imortality for some of these riders? I think we have have (potentially) one of the best seasons, certainly in respect of the level of exceptional talent. Rossi (yes I'm a BIG fan) Stoner, Pedrosa & Lorenzo are all of the highest calibre, and there are a few others not far off the mark. Great racing is what I personally look forward to!

Same here, it's a shame MC and ACE27have to be racist haters and bad mouth all the other non Stoner riders, spoiling a great forum for the world and degenerating it into fanatical one sided hate fest designed to drown out the rest of the true fans of the sport. The sooner MC and ACE27 leave the sooner this forum will return to the good old days of a single global motorcycle community, not the segregated ill willed world MC and ACE27 have brought upon us.

We could discuss your responce, which means we are discussing a discusion about a discussion about a forum discussion.

But yes this year is a great year, and since they are all racing VR. It makes their performances even more impressive.

Is JL's start in the series the best ever yet?
