Fiat Yamaha rider Rossi, chasing his first Bridgestone victory, topped the time sheets for the majority of the morning session. Track temperatures then increased during the afternoon, when Stoner upped his pace and edged ahead, but the Italian's morning time remained 0.257secs clear of the Ducati rider.
Looks like Rossi has found his Set-up immediately and the bridgestones are working well for him. I am sure Dani Pedrosa will be there with him. I am hoping Rossi will be able to do the Emergency House Call on Sunday and the rest of the season he will be able to find his set up immediately. Lets find out who the Patient will be on Sunday and who the Nurse will be as well Goooooooooooo Rossi

love the comment from Rossi. It will be a two way fight between the two best rides, but i can see Casey riding away with the win. Also if it rains, well its going to be a one way fight with Casey winning. Sorry people the truth hurts.

Jimmy, I don't believe qualifying is on the Beeb. If you look on the 'MotoGP on the BBC' page (sorry can't post link in comments) they have listings for saturday for other races but not Shanghai.
The race will be between Rossi/Stoner, Dani will be third surely but i doubt he will be able to match the pace of Rossi/Stoner.
Rossi, is such a nice guy, he has plenty of respect for his team mate & every other rider, why so many people who don't support him seem to have so much hate toward him staggers me, ah jealousy that's the reason.
As there is very little to choose between Rossi/Stoner at this point I would say that this year should favour Rossi, he will find more time & find a good tyre we can be sure of, also he has a bike much quicker than last year.
