Fantastic qualifying. Just hope you get a result tommorrow. As for Lorenzo, complete hero. Just shows what pussies F1 drivers are when even after walking away from a shunt they have to sit out a race in case they broke a finger nail???

With 5 mins to go, the only thing preventing a Yamaha 1-2-3-4 was.... Stoner. Lorenzo was in the hunt, banged up ankles and knee not withstanding. Fine effort. But then Capirossi found a good Q-tyre, and so did Pedrosa. But in the race? Forecast is rain. Dani boy and Jorge so far have not been water-babies. Could West go from the back to the front, without going Tango Uniform? And will Vermuelen do the business if it rains? Fascintating scenario. Great to see Lorenzo out there and going for it. The kid is tougher than many on this site appreciate.

Lorenzo - cool Rossi almost bald he's coming back to business

With 5 mins to go the only thing preventing a Yamaha 1-2-3-4 was... Stoner. Lorenzo was in there, injured ankles and banged up knee notwithstanding. Then Capirossi found a better Q-tyre, but Pedrosa found a better one, which pushed Toseland down the field a tad. But these are one lap wonders. The race is a different story. If it's dry, Rossi-Stoner-Pedrosa could get away and joust. If it's wet (as forecast) Rosi & Stoner will go away. But could West go from the back to bag a podium, without going Tango Uniform? And will Vermeulen do the business in the wet. Pedrosa & Lorenzo are not noted water babies (the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain - they must be mountain men).

it is good to see Edwards get the pole position, and Lorenzo is still in the second row which seems he is competitive in the race tomorrow, and I am so glad to see rossi quality front, but donno how it would be tommorrow, wish him good luck!

Casey what the f-c-k are you moaning about you're on the front row...Did I hear him saying basically he wasn't really putting it in???? Makes you wonder why he bothered with the four qualifiers, he doesn't need. He's quick but goes down in my estimation evry time he opens his mouth...put a sock in it buck tooth....I find my self wanting him to lose more than I want anybody else to win, can't remember a racer making me feel like that before...
