The Spaniard has made an impressive start to the season with a win, two second-places and a third. Pedrosa is thus the only person to finish on the podium at every round, allowing him to break clear of rookie arch-rival Jorge Lorenzo last time out in Shanghai - although Valentino Rossi is now lurking just nine points from the top.
Dani has done excellent so far, really good considering his lack of testing and Honda struggling with the bike in pre season. I'm curious when they will roll out the pneumatic valve engine, they may be reluctand to field it while he has the momentum going. Go Dani!
The Morgue, remember when dani was due to come in to MotoGP there was speculation that he was too slight and too weak to even finish a race?

Morgue - "Following post-French GP tests at Le Mans, when the pneumatic-valve version of the RC212V is tipped to return" - try reading the post before asking dumb questions you muppet.

I did Avin, Honda has also stated they would field it at Shanghai, and they didn't so I don't expect them to have it ready at Le Mans, less than a week from now. It wasn't a question really, more an expression of curiosity. Sorry you can't handle it and have to resort to namescalling.
Now now, cam down girls. From what i know, the new engine delivers the power to aggressively so it would probably suit Hayden better than Pedrosa. Presumably that why it has still not got the go ahead. As for Dani i think this will be his year if he gets the new bike but if Honda don't get to him soon i think Rossi will take the lead in the next few races.GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DANI.

Wasn't the chassis they're currently using originally intended to be used with the pneu engine but the problem that it was to slow at the time? (this is a question) They (Hayden) said setting the new engine up was the problem. It doesn't strike me as being particularly slow in this configuration.
It's great to see Dani topping the table. This could be the season we get to witness Dani and Rossi fighting for the title. Really looking forward to Le Mans, myself and 8 other friends are riding over for the race. Superb grandstand tickets include a pitwalk and meet the riders session. Can't wait!

I'm a big fan of Dani Pedrosa! And I think they can win the championship whitout the pneumatic engine. As Alberto Puig said. But the yamaha's are very fast and rossi is back in bussines. So it will be very hard. AND it's motorcycling so you don't know what is going to happen the next gp's!
Know what you mean Nicky. Le Mans is pretty crap to ride around . I've done loads of laps round it and although the first half is okay that last bit is utter pants. (bit like Donnington) My top 5 circuits that I've ridden around are: 5. Circuit de Catalunya 4. Istanbul 3. Mugello 2. Philip Island 1. Bruno (the best)
Oh, by the way did i mention it was on the PS2!!!!! What are your favourites?

I am not a big fan of Pedrosa, but saying that I sure as hell respect his riding skills, very smooth rider. It should be a hell of a battle for the championship this year.

Should be fun with the new engines in the HRC bikes. I cant see anything but the young guys taking complete control at the front now with Nicky and Dovi joining Horhay, Dani, Marco and Casey. I hope Suzuki and Kawasaki can work wonders and get their boys in the fight also... Got to now wonder who will replace that old clown guy in 09 maybe Jim?? if he can pull his finger out

Isn't Mr Pedrosa approx 20kg lighter than Mr Rossi?
If so, that's 20 bags of sugar....
Out of interest, I wonder what lap times the other riders would do if they put 20 bags of sugar in a ruck sack and rode a lap?
Slower or no change?
Hmm.

Hmm...he's 18 bags of sugar lighter than Nicky

I think Pedrosa should carry "20 bags of sugar" then we can see his lap times :-) His paperweight gives the engineers more room to play with engine tuning since the -20kg means better fuel consumption and it has additional benefit on the tyre endurance too. I am not a fan of him although he is a talented guy but I don't like his lack of personality just plain boring. MotoGP needs some showmans not just robots. Lorenzo is a perfect candidate for the job I always enjoy to watch him he's always up to something. In my opinion he is the next Rossi and he'll have a "few words" about Pedrosa's title lead defend in Le Mans.

I am really getting the jack with these scared weird little guy yellow biased crash mods editing my posts....... please explain to me why the word "clown" is so offensive? At least have the gonads to say you have editied a post and explain why?????
Seeing as this post will also be editied I will get my 2c worth in while it lasts-Someone need to seriously grow up and accept that the old CLOWN is past his prime, start supporting Jim you lame pommy mods after all he is going to slap "CLOWNboy" for a 6 before the years out that you can bank on at the first sign of a wet track
Mate, what is your problem. Every opportunity you get you have to slate Rossi. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this thread is about dani pedrosa and you have twisted and turned it into an excuse to slag rossi off. Or is it because Casey " my traction control wasn't working or my mechanic chose the wrong tyre " stoner hasn't had quite the start to the season as you aussies would have liked. Time to grow up I think.
