Yeah the clever money must be on Rossi for the win. He is good at LeMans and he seems to have got the measure of his tyres. I'm also tipping Colin Edwards to have a good showing this weekend, I see him on the third step just behind Pedrosa. Moaner will be mid pack this time around as Lorenzo, Dovi,Toseland, Hopper and the evergreen Loris all go well there.

I'm gonna come straight out and say that Vermeulen won't
win a race this year. Even if it's wet.
Let's be honest, he got lucky at Le Mans last year with
the timing of his bike change.
He barely looks able to challenge his team-mate, let alone
the rest of the field.
Yes if it's wet he will be further up the order, but if a
race is wet from the green flag, there is no way he'll
dominate on that bike.

Seem to remember Vermeulen leading fair and square at Laguna Seca in the dry?

ZX9R steve, it's funny that you said the whole (Rossi for prime minister)thing because, as I was watching the Chinese post race interviews with Rossi, Pedrosa and Stoner, the way the camera was on Rossi as he was talking about the race made me think of a world leader speaking! LOL! He took up the entire screen like a president does when he addresses the nation. I was like, this is cool! Rossi could be the world president! LMAO! I know that's a tad bit far maybe even a touch crazy but, I remember thinking it while I was watching those interviews. GOOOOOOOOOO "KING" ROSSI!

Lol every post seems to have at least one Rossi-hater. Don't see the point myself, I myself don't have a lot of time for Dani, but still respect the fact that he is a great rider who is on track for his first MotoGP champoinship. Would like to see Rossi win again at LeMans, but is going to be a very hard ask on Michelins home track. Picking another Rossi Pedrosa Lorenzo battle, Pedrose and Lorenzo definately slugging it out till the end, and Rossi too, if Bridgestone can give him a tyre that lasts till race end. Can't really see Stoner being there, whatever they changed on the Ducati from last year doesn't seem to be working. Maybe they would be better hauling out last years model?
