He needs a team mate who can help develop the bike, to guage his performance against and to know he had to work hard to beat, his getting none of that at the moment
dani can see the 2008 title slipping away. hayden won the title for honda in his third season in grand prix racing (let alone motogp). this is dani's third year in motogp and if he can't match hayden by winning the title this year then he should be demoted to a satelitte team

Unless he gets away at the front early Dani doesn't have the fight in him anymore to win races.
Couldn't pass Stoner in France, couldn't get back past Stoner yesterday. Without clear air in front of him he is just not very impessive at the moment!

Crash 27 thats why I say Dani needs a team mate who can run at the front, every rider wants to win but more over they want to beat their team mate
Well pretty soon he will have Hayden to chase during the races, as he comes round to lap him.
But maybe that's it Aegis. Put Dovi on that second Repsol bike and Dani will have someone to chase for sure.

Oh Crash 27, that is very mean but also funny in a way.
Well it seems that he really lacks grip in the second part of the race. Although on this race was not that obvious, at le Mans his bike was "everywhere" on braking... and YES we have to admit that outbraking somebody in race for Dani seems quite difficult. Although he did some great manouvres... somehow I have the feeling he does not take the risks...
Tsk! Tsk! Inaccurate person. I think you will find that Hayden actually won the title in his 4th season

Maybe HRC should provide more parts and more time to all their B-choice riders, to get more input. But I think that Dovi and De Angelis will soon beat Dani when they do that.

Pedrosa has 2 major problems:The tyres that he uses(can use)compared to the tyres that Rossi used to use when he was on Michelin's.And i am not talking Michelin vs Bridgestone.I am talking about the fact that Danny likes to use softer race tyres, that give more performance but wear out quicker. Why is this a problem?Because Danny can't ride harder Michelin's like Rossi used to.Rossi always was harder on his tyres, but could still go quick during races on the harder compounds. It's not the same with Pedro. He doesn't like harder compounds, so he uses softer one's,which give him better performance up to a certain point, but of course are completely worn out at the end of a race, continued.....

His second problem? His breaking. He can't for the LIFE of him outbreak Rossi.Rossi just is too good on the breaks. When was the last time anyone actaully remembers Pedrosa outbreaking Rossi and managing to stay in fornt of him for more than a couple of laps by constantly outbreaking?Exactly,it NEVER happens.9/10 he can't get past him on the breaks. He can only get past him using a slipstream. And it's not just against Rossi he has problems,he in general finds it hard to get past other quick riders.I remeber back in 06 in a race, where he was on of the quickest guys in the field, but could not make a passing attempt on Melandri stick, because Melandri always breaked later.it's pedro's main weakness

jjthekid... when you mention that, the race that springs to mind for me is Sachsenring 06. Rossi vs Melandri vs Hayden vs Pedrosa.
He runs softer tyres because his earlier braking and smooth riding allows him to. This is brilliant, if you are 10 seconds up the road winning every race. However, when you have to scrap your way to a win his riding style makes it tough and the tyres are worked harder... not taking anything away from Pedrosa as he is a good rider, but is he title winning material?

Dani Pedrosa will win races and the title soon!!!! Beacause, he is a BIG big talent! If everyone was racing with the same bike and tyres. THan pedrosa have won all the races and the champioship. But it isn't like that, Maybe that's also good beacause there's more action and competition now.as I said Dani is a big star!Honda have to give him better material, and soon. I'm very dissapionted in that way.Pedrosa won in Jerez and he has a lot of poduimfinishes. It's fantastic to see that he have done that with the bike he has now! Hope to see him take the win in Barca!!
Beacause true champions will always win! if they don't win now, it will be in future And only time will tell!!!! only t
I think Pedrosa is very capable of beating Rossi in a straight fight if they are on equal machinery. It defiantly appears to me that the best bike on the grid is the Yamaha, plus the best all round package is the Fiat Yamaha with Bridgestone tyres. It would be interesting to see Rossi & Pedrosa on the same set up. Honda need somthing quick......
