MotoGP rookie Jorge Lorenzo, who fractured both ankles during a huge highside at Shanghai on May 2, has been ruled out of the remainder of this weekend's Catalan Grand Prix after sustaining further injuries during a heavy Friday afternoon fall.
why does'nt jorge just take a rest from smashing himself up,he is going to be well f***** up if he keeps on putting his body on the line,he is only young and his body is not yet fully developed and without giving himself time to heal he is asking for trouble...get better soon jorge.
AAAhhh! Damn! Damn!!! DAMN!!! I was so looking forward to a good race this weekend and I figured Jorge would figure large in that. Get better soon Jorge!
Get well soon, but not too soon, your talent will still be there to show the world.

It looks like he's doing what Casey Stoner did a few years back but as they say, you can teach a fast rider not to fall off but you can't teach a slow rider to go fast. I guess that means he'll win next year
i dont agree with that theory far canal, just means crashers get rides. rather than the riders who learn and progress over time. any one can send a bike at a corner 100% and make the bend 80% of the time. its the rider who does it 99.9% and gets round it every time that is smart who later can nail it at 100%. tho on a time sheet not as fast. but thats just my opinon on that common phrase.
tho i dont think it applies to lorenzo, as he as enough experience. i think he is just trying too hard.
back lorenzo, its a shame. Hope he recovers soon, and gets back on the bike fit.
get well soon.

he has been hospitalized cos the doctors are still trying to remove all the gravel from his arss from all the falls he had in the last months he was always a wild one but he ads allot to the sport. i wish him a full recovery and hope he rides next time out.
Not sure about the whereabouts of a video, prob pop up on U tube soon enough, but basically the bike bit in to highside then tucked the front, essentially slamming George heavily flat across his back and head, this was followed up by another few tumbles where the heavist impacts where again on his back and scone. He was unable to answer where he was so has no doubt suffered a concussion, not exactly a blessing in disguise as i think we would all like to see him compete this weekend, but he needs the rest and hopefully it will give him a chance to re-focus, he's been riding over the limit for the last few rounds and can't keep taking the risks or punishment he has.

Ouch!
Sorry for Jorge, but he must learn that confidence alone only brings catastrophe. It must be paired with providence too.
I am sure I had commented about his crashing earlier, and there he goes again.

Very sad for Jorge As a Rossi fan first and foremost, I was hoping that Jorge would be there to keep the 'sharp end' honest and spice things up.
JL has some Rossi-like qualities that mark him out as a great MotoGP rider and entertainer for the coming years. A great compliment to Casey,Dani and the 'old boy' Rossi!
Get well soon JL.

Hope to see a speedy recovery from JL......maybe the 800s are easier to ride but they can still bite as he is finding out. Lets hope he can get it togther for the rest of the season and make it a close battle for the championship.....just needs to find his racing sense same as CS had to !!!!
