I hope Nicky gets to race that engine soon and that it helps him, I don't think he'll keep his facotry ride at Honda but I want to have some good results.

100% Jimmy ... unless there were circumstances to explain that difference, I think that is the end for Melandri at Ducati.
They cant afford to be running where Marco is, & its not doing him any favours either.

Marco Marco what the hell is wrong with you??? for your reputation and future find somehow to leave MotoGP this year and come back next year on a different bike. how the hell is a test rider that has less hours on the bike then what you did last week goes two and a half seconds faster then you???
Maybe it is better for Melandri to do some runs on an Aprilia 250 again. I think he has been conditioned by the Honda's friendliness too much. Maybe a Honda is the only thing he can go fast on in MotoGP, he wasn't able to find the right feeling on the old M1 either.... For fooks sake try to find the limit on that Duc. Crash the bike a couple of times to find where the limits are. Up the corner speed until you go down. At least you will now how far the limit is past your comfort level. Then adjust your comfort level by doing it again, and again, and again....
You might be on to something, Sasha... I don't think we've seen hardly any crashes from Melandri, unless de Puniet was in close proximity Maybe he just isn't pushing hard enough.
LOL, he needs to spend a week with Bayliss to learn how to grab a bike by the neck and THROW IT AROUND!!
I'm curious to know if these laps were on race tyres, can anyone confirm? If they are on race tyres the rest of the championship becomes very unclear because we see a huge improvement by Stoner and HRC's new engine looks like it will work...
Either way this is a very unpredictable season, I'm enjoying the show even though I can't help but cringe at how badly Marco is doing :(
Sasha, TLR are you 2 watching the same thing as the rest of us!!?? did you not see marco crash in qualifing last weekend in a straight line!!! the bike is a dog the way he has it set up, look closely it looks like it wants to cast him off at every available opportunity. His confidence is shot by a bike he can do nothing with

Poor Marco. They don't even show his Nolan advertisement anymore.
I think that Gresini will still want him onboard however. IF Marco asks *very* politely.
Surely this wasn't the first time Canepa has ridden the bike? 2.5 seconds is a fair difference, sure, but you can't say this is an apples to apples comparison.
In any case, Marco should, and probably will, move on next season. This year's bike isn't working for him, and it doesn't look like next year's will either. Next victim?
well done Nicky, I'm so proud of you man. Nicky will win Laguna, Indy Assen, and Germany's Gp with this new engine. Go Nicky. This boy is growing on me, In 2006 I wasn't his fan but he won me because of his personality, attitude, and why not to say? Hayden is the hottest man on earth. Love ya kid!

Nicky Hayden will be on the Duke next year alongside Casey, where that leaves Marco other than at Kawasaki i don't know.
Laguna is a known track now, it's not like 2004 (or '5 don't remember). Hayden will score higher than usual but I really can't see him winning. There is a legend, a looney, a Mr Consistent, the reigning World Champion and another american on a satellite team who's gone far better than him so far. And he's gonna have to beat them all. Too hard for him judging by what he's shown so far.
Having said that I really can't see him winnin ANY race this year. Competition is simply too stiff.
