Hayden heads into the unknown.

Nicky Hayden's impressive debut with the pneumatic-valve Honda engine continued despite wet conditions at Donington Park on Saturday.

Hayden definitely needs the results. I think he is taking one for the team and at the same time possibly saving his seat with Honda. His style matches WSB more than it does MotoGP, so adapting is tough. He said the motor is more aggressive which I understand as it delivers power more aggressively which could lead to tire wear issues. Nicky though seems to prefer the power and the ability to slide the bike around. This might just be what he needs as long as he can save the tires.

Wherever he finishes I sincerely hope it is going to be before Pedrosa.
