After his stunning ride to victory at Assen in 2007, Valentino Rossi is eyeing a similar – if not identical – performance at this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix.
I'll be watching you from the GT-stand all weekend
Make it happen like last year, that was really outrageous!

Scott Redding should go to MotoGp next year he is already better than Rossi was at the same age,if Scott leaves it too long before he joins the big boys when he wins the World Championship people will say he only won because Rossi has retired, the kid has more talent than Rossi ever had and at 15 years, he is riding a 3rd grade bike not the best bike and crew like always Rossi has.It would be great to see him in the Tech3 team along side Toseland and would make Tech3 the all British Team,Toseland could guide him for his 1st year and he could win the WC in 2010. Go Racer Redding kick butt at Assen

You British always pump up your athletes even if they barely have a bit of talent. Sad. Take a good look at Toseland... he will not be nothing better than Colin Edwards.

So Rossi has always had the best bike, huh? What about when he switched to the POS Yamaha back in 2004?

Dray are you as good a MotoGp rider as Toseland, better still are you as good a rider as Redding, I bet you are an Aussie, if so it was Ok for your now World Champion to ride Gp when he was 15 years, and now England has a better Gp rider at 15 years than Stoner we are pumping up.Fred have a look at the Bike that Redding is riding compared to Rossi in 2004 by the way Rossi was 24 years in 2004 not 15 years.London FU you have said nothing but critize in your post but made nothing worth discussing so who hasn't a clue. Go Super Scott go em at Assen

As pleased as i am that Scott Redding won, and i think he is very very talented, You can't quite compare him to Rossi yet. its 1 win, but lets hope its the start of many and a fantastic career for him! a young English rider is what we need coming through and we potentially have 3 in 125 at the moment! lets not forget it was all about Bradley Smith until the donington weekend!
And as for Rossi always having the best bike, to start with to get the best bikes you have to earn them! and he didnt start on the best kit! and has been mentioned if you call that yamaha the best bike then you hae to praise the work he and JB did on it!
So, although with go intentions, a pretty thought free post!

And Dray... Toseland is out there in his first year performing well. He has made a couple of mistakes, agreed, but hes doing better than stoner did in his first year with very frequent trips into the scenery, oh how the introduction of smaller engines and advanced rider aids has helped, shame for the guys who could ride well without it that its a disadvantage not to use it!
also funny how you see very few vermulen fans on here... you guys disown him!? thought he was australian?! just go for the glory i suppose, or what little of it you can cling to!
if you think you can do better put your 4X down, stop dreaming of being an American when you finally grow up and try and do better!

Paul#46: because I think Redding is a better Rider than Rossi at 15 years you believe my opinion is a throught free post because you have a different opinion. What is a "go intentions" please.Thats the problem with England we always try to bring people down to our low level thats why our good sportspeople go overseas

grid pos at assen will be tight. with most top riders on form this is a recipe for a great race. hope lorenzo can mixit again hayden seems to have found something wich is positive. now what's all this gibernau stuff all about, can't u journalists get us some solid info or u want me to come do it? Ha Ha
go 46, but i hope u have to work your but off for the win
What's going on here? It's like reading a transcript from an argument in kids playground. I thought motorsport fans had a clue about sportsmanship, apparently not. This place is a shame because there are people making some valid points and then there are people who just floor me with their ignorance- like a bunch of spoilt kids. I know said children will slam me for daring to comment and maybe i should've just left it but it's put me off reading anyones comments because you've got to crawl through the mire to get to them. I don't suppose any of you care and neither should I but do you really think the guys you support would be impressed- I hope not.
Sorry, should read "good intentions"... I wasnt trying to bring him down at all, i think its great we have another potential English champion in the 125 class, i think he has a lot of talent but he still has a lot of learning ahead of him! he has won his first race which is a huge step, and long may his form continue, but to start comparing him to someone like Rossi after only his first race win is putting huge expectations on someone who is still finding his way and improving. lets encourage him and support him to his first title then start making the comparisons to previous champions!

guy s won one race ... and u already say he s better than rossi at 15? no he s not.
Right on Claire.....I visit this site less and less because of theses partisan drop kicks. Grow up people! Its one of the most technical, courageous, fascinating sports on earth! Surely you must have something interesting to contribute.

Looking forward to the Assen race. Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa are at their top condition now. Lorenzo are gaining strength too. 4-ways battle is expected. Even 2-by-2 battles also good for the spectators...

I can't visit there now :( Next year me gonna watch Rossi in Assen. Desidero Rossi il meglio!
London TC> Scott Redding should go to MotoGp next year he is already better than Rossi
I note that most people who disagree that Redding is better than Rossi at 15 years and Scott is on inferior equipment most have #46 in their ID, read the facts he is the youngest rider EVER to win a GP race, quite strange no comments from the Stoner fans because they know what it is like to try to make it on bad equipment. I bet when Redding starts winning MotoGp's he will get booooed in his own country. The 2 things that people hate success and failure, so boo the kid when he makes it big time as he will.He is the best of the British kids at the moment there will be more kids coming through with Red Bull drink up

Paul#46. Why start having a go at Australians when there wasn't a mention of them before your post?
Unnessasary and shows your ignorance.
By the way Stoner was doing better than Toseland by this point in his rookie year. He'd been on the podium and had pole. And all those aids weren't on the 250 he rode to 6 victories in his last year in 250's only being beaten by Dani.
And we all still love Vermulen and respect him a lot but the story isn't about him and not too many are so why are you bringing him up???
