While many onlookers are still reeling from Casey Stoner's dominant performance in the British Grand Prix, the MotoGP fraternity have little chance to take a breather before popping over the North Sea for the ninth round of the season at Assen.

Joking aside its probably true that Sete is quite sort of sensitive and susceptible to Rossi's subtle psychological tricks whilst Casey, well he's Australian and probably wouldn't actually notice :-)
Casey is an arrogant, he sees nothing but his own reflection at all times. Sete is more emotional, he feels and is affected by - 'thought' and worry.
The Rossi curse cannot work on Casey Stoner.....but the ban on traction control will.
The ideal senario is traction control is banned soon. Marco/Sete/Valentino can battle it out. Stoner will need to learn to ride a bike again. Maybe top 6.

it was just mind games... the rivalry between sete and vale is very different to the rivaly between casey and vale.
Also remember sete was really rossi's only rival. this year he has 3 potential proper rivals at each race!

I predict another riding lesson from Stoner this weekend, he is very focused to beat Rossi at Assen ..
Last year Rossi only beat him by 2 seconds and I'm sure Stoner can repeat last weekends result, fastest in the wet and dry, fastest in warmup and the race, the only thing he missed was fastest straightline speed..
Ciao..

Tax...rossi beat him by 2 seconds and came from 11th on the grid..
rossi's yam was on and off all season, yet he managed to give stoner a lesson at assen last season..
and i reckon he'll do the same again this year, assen is like mugello for rossi, he seems to find a set up for the place and goes well there..
winner in 2002, 2004, 2005 & 2007...speaks for itself really
i just want a good close race, between rossi, stoner, pedro and lorenzo...
Casey might do the same that in Donnington, clean table, and then again he might not. But if he does win in Assen, you'll see "fear" in the eyes of Vale. I doubt very much Casey can win the WC in 2008, too many points already lost, but he can seriousmy spoil the party and make a total assault on all the races where Vale and Pedrosa will on the contary be extremely self conscious about every move they make. Bring It On.
Without TC moaner stoner would be fighting for 10th place finishes, that is when he would finish a race. Most of the time he'd be crying from a gravel trap or hospital. Hope everyone beats his punk **** this weekend.

Seasons already over, Stoner is nothing more that a novelty trinket that one may put on ones keyring......comical, annoying, handy if you've alot of keys...Never has a characature looked more like a portrait.
I wonder who the novelty trinket will abuse this time?? no doubt somebody struggling at the back...
1.Rossi 2.Gibernau 3.Melandri

hey safety dunce he might abuse the same chap that rossi had words with on the track in practice last round which everyone seems to want to forget.

Dunce,
I have FP2, Q, and the 125, 250, and GP Race recorded. BBC, Eurosport, and MotoGP telecasts. No kidding. I like to archive the races, practices, and Qs. I've got numerous years of every single weekend archived on DVD. I'm compulsive that way.
Can you tell me the timestamp where "Rossi had words" with someone? Who was it? What happened? I assume it was in FP since you said "practice".
I'm not saying he did or didn't, but I haven't read anything about it and I've watched everything I have.
So, a timestamp would be great. I'd know where to start looking.
