Did you all see how many laps Stoner did in the 1:36s? About 15. He completed over 10 laps faster than Rossi's quickest.

Unless Rossi and others find something big tomorrow this race is going to be the biggest winning margin of the year.

While I do want to see Stoner win I don't really want it to be like that.

Stoner is away with this one, it's a one horse race. I can't believe how much of a difference a new intel processor has made to his performance, amazing. I fear another boring race is upon us. Hopefully there will be a good battle for 2nd/3rd/4th and the tv cameras will conentrate on that. Rossi will probably extend his championship lead.

The race is in the bag for stoner just not sure how much was down to ability...

Did anybody see hopkins following stoner with 7 minutes to go. JH nearly hit CS in the chicane he was so much quicker,he was dropped on the short straight, and then he was close again for the next couple of corners but by the end of the long straight you couldn't even see CSs bike in JHs on board camera unbelievable, I know the quack is not supposed to be that quick but it was like to seperate classes.

Yam and honda- back to the drawing board if you want to catch him, cause your current bike ain't good enough...

As a Stoner fan I have no doubt Rossi will get quicker and still be battling out the race with Casey.

How could that ugly green Kawasucki go around faster than my beautiful son's Repsol? No problems for Saturday though since it will break. Nice to see Rossi get within range in the second practise round. Stoner's bike makes me see red. -Mom P

The fight for the podium looks like it could be a good scrap though! i think pedrosa may have his work cut out thsi weekend, can see him losing more than a couple of points to vale...

as impressive as stoners pace is, i think Rossi will be with him come race day, the battle for the podium looks promising. i reckon dani has his work cut out limiting the points lost to Vale this weekend.

Tomorrow the forcast is much rain (70%) so i think it was the last dry practise.........thats no good for Rossi and the rest.

if u have an advantage of even a 0.1 accelarating out of a corner 0.1*8 corners= 0.8 ... and without any extra effort from the rider.

no once will be able to close a gap of 0.8 over night...and to make it worse its gonna be a wet fp3 !!!

Dream on Paul, I can see another riding lesson from Stoner, a repeat of last weekends domination..

All it will take is one DNF and Stoner will be back in the title hunt, Rossi being the champ he is will fight for a win rather than settle for a safe second and protect his substantial lead..it is this that could bring him undone.

CS had a big moment, all it needs is a system crash and Stoner will DNF as we say earlier in the season when it mysteriously rebooted and his championship hunt will be over...
Kudos to Duk for the extra power but same fuel consumption.
Only hope that Rossi can stay close enough to Stoner for him to overun maximum setting and make a mess of his fuel strategy on a track that's heavy on fuel...dream over...
I for one am now totally convinced that CS is not that much better than Rossi and the bike is most definately putting him where he is..shame bet he would have loved to have proved himself before he got on it...
