This is really unfortunate, sorry to hear Loris is out, that crash was terrible, get well, heal up soon. Now they need to put in Ben.... he's there, ready, willing and will get huge coverage, which means more sponsor $$$ money. Put in Ben . Then LC can heal up and make his comeback after Laguna.
I think Paul Denning has lost it completely... I dont know what his problems is but if a big team is in a strange situation and the leader is totaly comfused then....

Why on earth would you not put in Ben? He's at the track, ready to go? Fair enough he's had no practise and will run around at the back, but he'll be getting valuable experience and it's much better than simply fielding one bike surely?

according to Julian Ryder Ben doesn't want to ride. He already missed out on two practices at a track he doesn't know, plus it's supposed to rain on race day. I think he's worried about injuring himself. Plus there's an upcoming test at Indianapolis?
Personally I would like to see him ride, what has he got to lose? Clearly no one's going to be that surprised if he doesn't do well, so he might as well get the experience
True, spies shud be flying his way over to assen if he isn't already there, getting his leathers on and getting some good racing experience at another circuit he's probably never been to, shame cos at least when he does come in to motogp full time he would have had some helpful experience..
plus its just interesting to see how a newbie can go at these circuits
I heard that the team wanted Ben to ride to learn the track and get more experience of the bike but he refused because he'd already missed a day... And Loris seems good to go next round, flesh wound and all...

Ben: "Mr Denning sir! Can I put the gonads back in their velvet lined box please?" (hangs head slightly)
Paul: " Hffff.. Oh okay. I guess they are a little *too* big today..." (reluctantly places eager gonads back in their box for another day)

sorry suzuki but if you have made the decision not to run spies then i think you can kiss goodbye any chance of signing him for next season. However if spies has taken the decision not to ride as he has missed practice today then please jump on the next plane back to america and ride around tracks where you only have on other guy to beat (mladin)

Why Denning didn't ask Melandri to ride Capirossi's bike?
I think Melandri would preferred to ride the zook than his GP8 and Spies will jump at any seconds if offered to ride the red duke...

Capirossi is a minor legend, a great guy,and was a fantastic rider in his day, but it's time for him to join Checa at SBK and let some young blood rise up and take his spot. He is a case of diminishing returns, and I can't see him making a comeback at his age.

Capirossi is a selfish idiot in the first place for not letting ben ride the bike in the first place when he wasnt 100% fit. Denning should of told Loris he wasnt going to ride.
