At first it was just spits and spots of rain on my visor. It lasted for a couple of laps and I thought it would pass. It was still almost dry on the first part of the circuit up through the start and finish but as I came down to the back end of the circuit it started to pour with rain.
Never mind bradley you did a great job at assen but it was not meant to be again this time you shown that you can do corsi and talmacsi were very lucky but they just will not show or say it but least you admit that you have had some luck-france front brake the win is so close mate just keep your head up and think of all the postive the win was your in the bag but the weather agin let you down lets hope it stays dry in germany + it was sad to see pasini go down again this week you are both given it 100% that is good to see lets hope you both have better luck for the rest of the season + the signed picture I brought of your site is very nice thank alot bradley
Bradley, you have the potential - you just need to tap into it. If that first win comes, who knows.....it might be the dam burst with loads of wins to follow. And in the last corner....with that lot around you all going for the win...do what toby and jules say - take the brain out and go for it!! On another note Bradley (and scott & danny) stands to loose the most with the loss of eurosport coverage.
Brad is a major talent, but I just hope the lad doesn't blow it too soon. When he was leading the race in the last round (by a good margin) I felt guilty for thinking... just wait, he will fall... and sure enough he did. The restart saved ol' Brad a heap of points... Smith is ace, really nice guy and in his young years a true pro, but needs far more consistency... My fingers crossed for you Brad... One day perhaps...

Great start by Brad, huge gap for a 125 race!! Felt terrible for him when it rained & he crashed!! Remindes me of a young Casey Stoner..., not the best bike, but always up there fighting..., & when he does get way ahead, it rains & bins it!! I see a very bright future for the young man!!!
We can only commend you for the performance at Assen. You have proven to everyone that not only can you run with the best in the world but actually trounce them ! 3.7 second lead in a 125 race is like an eternity. Good effort in the 2nd half of race also, it was real balls out stuff through that last chicane !!

Hmm, my first attempt at a message obviously failed...
Right! You had 'em Bradley! I was cheering you on from my armchair all the way, you WILL win a GP this year, I know it!
Keep up the good work and I'm sure you and Scott and Danny will do us proud!
The final result notwithstanding, this race should be a big boost to Bradley's confidence. One of these days, and soon I think, it will click. You really have to put not winning this one down to bad luck, and nothing more. Riding cautiously on the first lap or so of the restart may have cost dear, but as he says he still picked up points, that is much better than wanting to keep up so much that he bins it (as a few races ago).
I was gutted for Brad watching the Assen race. Not sure how anybody can still doubt him after his two podium performances this year and that commanding lead before the rain.
As a fellow Brit and a fellow Ginge, I just can't help but like the lad and support him all the way.
Did anyone see him and Neil Spalding talking on Eurosport on Sunday? If you didn't know he was 17, he sounds like a seasoned veteran...
As for Neil Spalding - I can't help but gawp at the screen, straining to concentrate and take in every piece of information that comes out of his noisehole. The guy is a legend!
I like you Kid! You have heart, I'm really happy to see you making your mark on a somewhat competitive bike. You're close little Man, just keep at it and stay relentless in your pursuit, you'll be slaying giants in no time.
Keiran, if Bradley is so much worse than Scott, why is he ahead of him in the championship? This is in no way meant as a derogatory comment towards Scott, but I just can't understand why people have suddenly abandoned Bradley now that Scott's won a race. Why can't everyone just be happy at the fact that there are three brits in 125's on competitive bikes for the first time rather than slating them?

Just before we kick this off, I don't want to start this into a flame war...
I have never liked Smith, he just doesn't seem to have the nerve to disengage the brain and race as that is what is needed to win races in the 125 championship.
Don't get me wrong though, he is a great hot lapper.
Plus the fact he isn't exactly a Brad Pit in the looks department doesn't help matters!
yep, it's the british thing of build 'em up and knock 'em down. Keiran, we are all 'experts' here on crash, aren't we? I hope that bradley proves you wrong, not to prove me right but just so we have a winner in GP's. Hopefully one with potential, potential that will not flourish with the negative attitude that you have shown. How long will it be before you start knocking scott?
