So whats the stoner fans reason for STONER not wiining. Could it be that bike set up and tyres acuatualy mean something in such a technical sport. Pedrosa given then right equipment would beat stoner everytime. Stoner deverse the championship, but in no way is he the best rider.

A nice day of racing,
with a shadow cast over it in the form of the sad death of Colin McRae...
It was good to see the bikes competitive again, great race by Rossi,
the roar of the crowd shows how immensely polpular he still is.
To put things in perspective: this was not a track where Bridgestone has a good record,
so you can say Stoner did a good bit of 'damagecontrol'.
It looked like Hayden was going to catch him, he was real close but rode a strange race.
The Honda seems to have gained in topspeed though (at least here).
Vermeulen was really disappointing, he wants to be Worldchampion in 2008?.

finally a decent race, what a battle, stoner is a very bad loser there was no need to start spirting crap out like he did, least vale is a good loser and congratulates the winner, he needs to learn to be a gracious loser.

Grromm, I agree with you,but what is really annoying is the Rossi knockers who don't seem to understand technicaly of racing I'm new to these posts, but it seemsto me that if you give Rossi a good bike he will be up there! look at Rossi v Pedrosa same michelin tyres and Rossi won.

The pneumatic valves on the M1 worked. As you can see the 3 bikes has the same power on straights. We're going to see more hectic battles coming.

As for Rossi, YOUUU ROCKKK DUDEEE! WELCOME BACK! ;)

VALE!!
Stoner really looked dissapointing, really mad, not even trying to force a smile...
And hey! I've acctually seen Dani smiling! That's really the first time that i acctually saw him smiling, i couldn't believe it And Vale just showed again the stoners of this world, that he still is the master and that a good tyre after all really counts something in this sport, wonder what casy will think about this

During the press conference, Stoner said about clutch problem. So, it's all up to you all to define whether it is a whining/moaning, or is it just very normal opinion from a rider. I would not think it is a whining/moaning because he said what he found/felt during the race, though Rossi haters always knock him when he got tyre or engine problem. Come on people, let's give credit to the winner where it's due. Today, it's Rossi's. Looking forward to similar races in the coming weeks.

that's right vincent, rossi is the best but give him a nail to ride and even he can't make miracles happen, rossi is the best at riding round problems but this year has been unbelievable turkey, tyre went oval, germany, engine overheating thus slowing him down, misano, engine went bang, donnington, rear tyre fell to pieces these are problems that end your race. when he has the package he will always challenge.

Well done to Rossi for recognising Coiln Macrae as world champion and dedicating his win to him. [EDITED].

Casey is a professional, ofcourse he's mad and rightly so.
But let's face it, he will be Worldchampion this year.
This day of racing doesn't reflect the season but gives hope
for more competition in the future (starting next week?).
And it was fun to see them at least fight eachother again
in all classes.
Motegi 2006 was a Bridgestone first (Capirossi) so things may look opposite again.
Let's just hope Michelin cooks up something good for next week and the valves stay in place...
Did you see the blow ups from Randy's bike? Wow! And Barros too...

in all seriosness grromm you must have noticed barros' early season form was good then he beat stoner at mugello and he never seems to have had the package underneath him since then, cos he was outperforming loris in the early races.

I'm missing the Motogp expert namely "yamaha r1" who always appears in this forum after Rossi lost a race. He'd say: "what's Rossi's excuse now? tyre? bike?". Now after Rossi wins, he disappeared. Where r u yamaha r1? I'm sure you'll be here again when Rossi loses another race. C u later, coward.

Do you seriously believe Ducati would do such a thing to Barros Vicripoll?
I don't think so.
First: Stoner has the power to do it on his own, without such 'tricks'
Second: It is very bad advertisement for a factory to see a bike of their mark blow up
in front of millions of viewers around the world.

i don't think sabbotage i was joking, but not give him any new parts i do, i was at the gp in mugello and there were a lot of pi**ed off italians in that ducati garage, the fans wanted blood, the verdict of most italians ducati was on the podium but it count cos it wasn't a red one
