Laguna Seca - Free practice times (3).

Injured title contender Dani Pedrosa, who rode through the pain of fractures to his left hand to sit 15th fastest on Friday, did not ride this morning. The Spaniard currently still intends to take part in this afternoon's qualifying session...

Jeez Kees, were you sat on the keyboard waiting to ponce...

You used to come across as knowledgable, but clearly your just as antagonistic as the rest of the stonersexuals....

Well done Rossi and Nakano easily the biggest improvers.. stoner just a fast in the first minute as in qualifying two days later with sticky tyres, it's all about setup..

1 sec faster than last year that's pretty quick but what razzes me off is that only a couple of the others have just managed to beat last years time and some of that must be down to new rubber, surely the jap manufacturers knew they would have to be quicker than last year, they've had it easy for too long and need to get their act together..... MM was alot closer to CS than the JT was to Rossi..don't if that says anything...

nothing like sticking a softy in at the end of the session and doing one fast lap as soon as he done the 1.21.4 he went straight back to 1.28.8 before the stoner groupies get all excited see if he can keep them lap times as a race pace if he can fair play

i doubt anyone other than the rossi fans and motogp fans will be pleased with the laptimes improving, hopefully a few more tenths can be found in the next session

but hey, you stoner fans dont want an exciting race do ya, you just wanna see ur boy disappear off in to the distance...no real interest in the sport...oh well..whatever floats ur boat

Agree with ya jimmy boy. Rossi was .2 off stoner towards the end. Thats why moaner chucked in a softie to play a bit of mind games. Too late sucker, rossis closing in and there aint nowt you and your firmware updates can do about it. Bring on the next session so i can listen to the book of Stoners excuses

1) A kangaroo got in my way
2) One of the corks fell off of my hat
3) I couldnt get the barbeque started
4) Mick Dundee threw a bottle at me from the grandstands

The bridgestones have delivered great tyres and have a clear advantage over the michelins in these what "colder" conditions.. I think it must be possible to go under the 1.22 with qualifying rubber..
Indeed Marco improved a lot great to see him back on form also Nakano did very well..
Can't wait for Nicky on the qualifyer to see if he comes close...

1.20.5 is the qualy times i reckon stoner may get to...

he still has an advantage over everyone else, there's no doubt about that, rossi and yamaha have done really well to close up and set a respectable lap time..

i just hope it gets tight and there's a good race tomorrow, whatever the outcome..i still stick with my top 3 of

1. Stoner
2. Rossi
3. Vermulen

rossi and yamaha are gonna have to work their balls off to get close on race pace with stoner and ducati, and even if they match it, the ducati is probably the strongest bike out there towards the end of a race, stoner's laptimes usually improve if needed towards the end...its gonna be tough...but rossi's the man to have a go!

Seems to me that Bill Gates payed Valentino a little visit to .Stoner still have an advantage but they are closing the gap towards him,
but every time they get a little closer he moves the target, what a spoil sport.

Stefan, even the most ardent Stoner supporter would not wish that on him,
a bike running Micro$oft software, and after service pack 2 codenamed vista
20 mph lost of top speed, random crashes, rider incompatibility and the dreaded blue screen of ****h, through in a few virus's for good measure.
now how in there right mind would want to ride that.
