James Toseland aims to get his debut MotoGP season back on track with a strong performance in this weekend's Czech Republic Grand Prix, the first round after the summer break.
This guy is another Nicky Hayden. First the gremlins that those were all new tracks and than at his Hometown Donnigton He Fcuks it up. He will probably keep Marco Melandri companionship throughtout all the rest of the races. Super bike is superbike. Motogp is a whole new territory.
6th is the best he will do come Sunday. Or I will eat my shorts
Saran, I don't know if that is a boys or girls name, but as you are obviously an EXPERT when it comes to the riders, how come I don't see your name on the start grid? Any complete idiot would realise that Donnington was a complete nightmare for JT, and not a true reflection on his actual capability. He knows Donny very well, but it was, and this is not an excuse, his first time on a Moto GP bike. Its his first year. Cut him a bit of slack and lets see what happens next year. Ignorant people like you really make me chuckle.

saran dorairaj - You may not actually BE English with a name like that, but if you're gonna post comments on an English website about an English rider and an ex two-time World Superbike Champion at that, at least make the effort to type proper f**ing English, check grammar and spelling etc, you ignoramus !! Once you've mastered that, then read what you've written before submitting 'cos frankly what you've said so far is complete b*****s !!
Every new GP rider gets one year to learn the tracks and bikes, you can't base long term career success on the first year. Even Rossi took 2 years in each GP class to win the championship.
There is a subtler connection in Saran's comment that I'm sure he's oblivious to... it seems that with each successive displacement reduction and with the bikes getting smaller and more rigid, they are approaching the handling and performance characteristics of the 250 class. If that's true, then you would think that the physically bigger guys that didn't mature in the GP classes (like JT, NH, and CE) are at a disadvantage.
Not saying they can't win the class of course, just harder to do (cont)

I'm just looking at the current leaderboard and thinking... hmmm:
1. VR (GP) 2. CS (GP) 3. DP (GP) 4. JL (GP) 5. AD (GP) 6. CE (SBK) 7. CV (SBK) 8. NH (SBK) 9. JT (SBK)

Saran,as far as I can see,if the rider's name isn't Valetino Rossi, you're not interested! I like VR as much as the next man,but I also like and respect ALL the other riders in MotoGP cos they do something I could never hope to do. Think about this: not everybody wins and unfotunately someone's got to finish last. It doesn't mean that they're rubbish,it means they had a bad day at the office. One thing I do know is that all us 'experts' on here couldn't do anywhere near better. Stoner or whoever wins, I respect him for it despite what he might say. West or whoever finishes last and I respect him for being there.
ramjam good comment we cudnt get close i think respect not hate is the way we miss them all when there taken away in wotever class or formula just hopeing for another great race best man wins

Here are bunch of names I like. Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Marco Simoncelli, Wayne Rainey, Kevin Scwhantz. You cant say I am not interested. I am more Passionate about Rossi but hey I wont be in line to buy a Yamaha. in a hurry. We watch Motogp differently. Do I need to be in the Manchester United Team to cheer the team. Do I need to be an Italian to support Rossi. No. Until JT proves he is worth his ride in Motogp and rides like he did in Qatar. Of late no superbike rider has dominated Motogp.
Agree with slack cutter totally what was oblivious to me. Superbike is not a staple of mine for the Basic reason that they go out and race once and than a second time on the same day. For what.
JT, why not admit it? Music is your true passion, you could be a GREAT karaoke singer, give up the day job boy, and follow your dreams.

That's a bit harsh, groupie. JT is a double world champion. He also enjoys performing.
Also, Doesnt matter if he isnt a singing superstar, he does two things very well that he loves doing. How many of us can say that?
He'll get used to the Bike and do very well in MotoGP, like Edwards and Vermeulen have.

Hi Ben, I was just stirring the pot a little, I love all the guys out there, and I'm only jealous of JT. Multi-talented, good looking, 2 WC's, I mean where's the justice in that? Let's hope this will be the race where he can show the world his abilities. I'm looking forward to a "battle", cheers.

While i do really support JT I cannot help but agree slightly with saran there is always a nagging doubt about whether he can get any further than 6th place in any race (not too bad that really) also wonder whether he gets the sort of help from yamaha and michelin that he needs at times. Ultimately if James could end up 6th-7th overall in championship standings then he has done bl**dy well despite what anyone thinks and he can look to build on it next season.
It sounds to me like most people are saying the same...normally in any class you have time to prove yourself but i guess in the elite class the profile is so high you have to put up with the **** til you prove people wrong. Lets face it, 90% of ppl were laughin at his decision to go Tech 3 yamaha but in the overall scheme of things (although honda or now pullin their finger out) it was a wise choice. Coming up from a 250 bike racing the same tracks must take alot lass adapting than from a 1000 on different tracks surely? I do agree with one thing Saran said...You certainly don't have to be from Manchester to be a Man Utd fan!!

Groupie...
you obviously read some of the comments posted on this site & take FAR too much notice...
Every time JT is mentioned people always seem to harp on about his band & for some reason they make the assumption that he is more interested in that than actually racing.
I assure you this is not the case. JT is one of the most dedicated lads in the paddock. he puts himself through extensive physical training programmes, hardly drinks, doesnt smoke etc & does as much testing as he possibly can.
He did the gig at Donnington the night before the race because he wanted to thank the british fans for their support!!! Most bike fans REALLY appreciated that!!!

Hey ACE. You seem to have an unhealthy infatuation with anything homosexual. Is there somthing you need to share with us all. Come on fella, out of the closet. Mrs Ace won't be too dissapointed. Lets face it she probably already knows!
