Casey Stoner's hopes of retaining his MotoGP world title suffered a devastating blow at Brno on Sunday, when the Australian crashed out of a one-second lead over Valentino Rossi - gifting the Italian his fifth victory of the season and doubling his title lead to 50 points over the Ducati rider.
Great victory, great pressure, Great Valentino!!! That really as a lot in common with what happened in Brno 2001. But the championship still have 150 points to dispute, Rossi won the race and has an important advantage. He has to stay focus until the end. I guess we saw the beggining of the end for the Michelin rubber... Go Vale!
Would be nice to have more than 2 going for a race win. I don't fancy watching VR,CS and DP racing for 1-2-3 with no one with a look in next year. Rossi's to loose now. Danny must be pissed. Glad to see Toni up there.

Hey I got a final line. Actually I have a whole song
How about Desperado why don't you come to senses You've been out riding fenses for so long now Oh Oh oh that was a Hard one.
Valentino didn't have to pass him, just staying 1.2 seconds behind was enough, then Casey Moaner tried that little bit too hard to get away . . . . and there you have it . . . . Valentino is in Casey's head. OK Casey might win a couple of more races but the damage is now done.

What a shame that CS fell, but for whatever worth, I think CS tuck the bike with too much angle, you can see the spark from his Ducati right before he lose the rear end. Probable a footpeg or something ... but nice ride by CS and VR on the first 5 laps ... clearly on a different universe with the rest.
i only saw part of the race, but didnt stoner crash immediately after he was told that rossi had made up half a second on that one lap. rossi was on a charge and stoner tried to respond but lost it instead. stoner may be able to stand the pressure in a year or two, but currently he cant control himself.
Rossi is now looking very much in control and the Yamaha is spot on!
6 more races to go, he thoroughly deserves this title and it'll be his finest one yet over his most worthy adversary.
Che spettacolo!!!

Go for it Valentino, keep it up! Go for consistant high points finishes, 1st or 2nd in the next races and the title that has missing from you for the last two years, will be yours again! GO GO GO Rossi!

Hi Steve... carried on from the other thread ... I have just read the motogp site also, i was under the impression, as im sure a lot of others were that the issues were with the rear of the bike? judging by the way the rear was overtaking the front and the rear tyre made a big black mark on the tarmac just before the bike dropped fully...
It reminds me of duel Biaggi vs. Rossi in Brno a few years ago. Biaggi fell, he could not cope with the presssure from Vale even though Biaggi was much faster Rossi admitted.
Shame, Casey can only blame himself. as a stoner fan its gutting. But it looks like rossi is on course for the title that he deserves. not going to beat the stoner up over it tho(like others i am sure have) as its racing. so well done rossi.
as for the race, without them 2 its pretty dull. i dont really think it was much of an improvement from marco, most of the race he was with james and colin. i though dovi did well holding on to the other guys for as long as he did.
again congrats to vale. kept his head and got a well deserved win.
