“It has been a positive day – and I never expected a lap time like that," he beamed, "We've worked a lot with Bridgestone and the results are there to see. We've put a decent race pace together and, although we still have work to do to improve, especially on a qualifying tyre, I think we can go to Qatar with smiles on our faces, confident that we can be competitive from the start of the season.”
