"We still have many things to test and I hope we will be able to get through all the programme so we are ready for the first race. It is going to be very strange riding through the night and not finishing 'til midnight - like doing a 24-hour race!”

The teams will begin testing at 1700hrs local time on Thursday and Friday [28-29 February], with both sessions running until midnight to give as much after-dark running as possible.
