MotoGP » 'Unbelievable' Lorenzo tops Monday test.

Jorge Lorenzo may have been beaten by both Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi in Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix, but the MotoGP rookie provided further proof that he'll win a race some time this year by setting a stunning pace during testing at Jerez on Monday.

Marco, who felt he had been making progress prior to the fall, set a best lap time 0.8secs slower than Stoner's race tyre mark.

Some riders will return to Jerez for a second and final day of testing on Tuesday.
