My Polaris World Aprilia team have been fantastic because they are a very experienced bunch of guys and have been there before. They understand these situations and will not allow me to get disheartened. We will pick up the pieces and get going again.

They have great faith in me and will not let me doubt myself which is fantastic because at the moment every time I seem to be on television in England I'm crashing. It happened to the likes of Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner in their early days although it's difficult to accept three non finishes in the opening four races, three which I've started from pole position.

I've so improved as a rider this season by racing at the front with the top people in the World. You tread a very fine line looking for a tenth of a second here and there while competing in a World Championship race. I appreciate and understand so much more about competing at this level. As a team we are ticking so many boxes and we have proved we are fast enough to compete at the very top and we are convinced more than ever that the first grand prix victory is not far away.

World Champion Mick Doohan always said that you could not make a slow rider go faster but you could make a fast rider take a bit more care. He was right and we will continue the battle at Le Mans in France a week on Sunday. I scored my one and only podium finish there last year when I was third. It was highlight of my career and to return and win my first grand prix a year later would put us right back on track.

I've had a rummage around in the shed at home today and I've come up with an answer to all our problems for Le Mans. I've found an old pair of stabiliser wheels from my very first push bike and so they are on their way to France to be fitted for the race. You must never doubt your ability or lose your sense of humour when the going gets tough. We will get there.

Until next time,

Bradley
