For the third grand prix in succession
MotoGP rookie
James Toseland takes on an unknown circuit at this weekend's French Grand Prix, but believes the Le Mans layout will suit his aggressive riding styles.
The 27 year old makes his debut at the stop-go Bugatti circuit looking to bounce back from his worst GP finish to date, a twelfth place last time out at Shanghai, during the Tech 3 Yamaha team's home event.
"Although I've never been to Le Mans I think it will suit my aggressive riding style," said the reigning double World Superbike champion. "We were disappointed after that twelfth place in China and have given it a lot of thought and know what the problems were.
"It was a long lap to learn and get the bike set-up but we have put all that behind us," he added. "My team-mate
Colin Edwards has done well at Le Mans on the Yamaha which is a good reference point."
Toseland heads to this weekend's event joint fifth in the world championship standings, making him the highest ranked satellite rider.
Team-mate Edwards, who took pole position at Shanghai, qualified first on the grid - as a Fiat Yamaha rider - at Le Mans last year.
