Tetsuya Harada rode a brilliant final qualifying session at Phillip Island today, taking pole from World Championship leader Daijiro Katoh, who had led yesterday's session.

Harada crashed his RSW250 halfway through the session, losing the front end as he rode into Siberia but was unhurt.

"I got a little off line on to some bumps, the suspension compressed and rebounded a little too quickly, so the front slid away," he said...
