2005 Leaves Team KR to become an official Suzuki MotoGP test and wild-card rider.

2003 Stays with Team KR and endures a challenging season which begun on a KR3 two-stroke and then ended trying to develop the team's new V5 four-stroke. Finishes just five races leaving him 21st in the championship. Best result ninth at Jerez.
