Jimmie Johnson completes season Martinsville double as Jeff Gordon forced to concede defeat again.

After six of ten Chase races Gordon now leads Johnson by 53 points with Bowyer 115 marks back in third, Stewart 249 back in fourth and Edwards completing the top five 288 points behind. Although all 12 Chase contenders still have a mathematical chance of lifting the 2007 title, realistically it is now looking like boiling down a straight fight between Gordon and Johnson.
