Edwards dodges Dover destruction.

Sunday, 23rd September 2007

Carl Edwards survives Dover carnage to win Dodge Dealers 400.

After a race packed full of twists and turns Gordon manages to hang on to the overall points lead by just two markers over Stewart with Edwards three points back in third, Johnson four points back in fourth and Kyle Busch ten points behind in fifth. Bowyer and Truex Jr remain with 50 points of the lead in sixth and seventh places with Burton the only other driver within 100 points of the lead in eighth overall. Harvick, Kenseth, Kurt Busch and Hamlin are already on the back foot more than 100 markers out of the lead but they still have eight races to turn things around starting next weekend at the Kansas Speedway.
