Hendrick trio dominate Saturday morning practice. All year we have heard 'Hendrick VS Gibbs', so far gibbs has held up their end, but Hendrick motor sports has yet to find victory lane when it counts. Gibbs has proven they can build and race anything, they are going for their 4th championship with a third manufacturer. Denny Hamlin probably would have done better last year had they not announced the Toyota deal. Knowing that Gibbs was leaving the stable, Chevy put more into Hendrick, and it showed. Chevy no longer gets Gibbs feedback, Toyota does, and it is starting to show. Hendrick apparently was getting more than they would ever admit to from Chevy, who were getting it from Gibbs.
