Kyle Busch's explosive start to 2008 has gotten many tongues wagging.

While Busch has undoubtedly transformed the 2000 title winning #18 JGR team he knows that getting the first win for a team that has slipped down the pecking order over the past three years will be vital to the overall belief among the crew. The pre-season test for Sunday's UAW-Dodge 400 saw the #18 Toyota mixing it with the overall pacesetters giving Busch an extra boost.

“I think we had a great test. Jason (Ratcliff, crew chief) and I worked well together,” Busch adds. “We changed a couple of things and we unloaded really well right off the bat. It took me just a few laps to get used to the horsepower change in the Nationwide Series cars. The cars drove great and I think we've got something we can run up front with, and I'm hoping we can be in contention for the win.”
