"I could have had a trophy in my case last year by knocking Kyle out of the way. I chose not to do that, and Richard [Childress] and [crew chief] Scott [Miller] had to live with my decision. But those things come back. They have a way of coming back [and] I feel like that's what happened to us today."

Burton jumped to fourth in the point standings as a result of the win, and is now just 37 points behind leader Busch.
